For its European Operations Centre in Prague, Solten company is looking for an:

Interpreting Project Manager

JOB OFFER :

In close collaboration with three other project managers, you will have under your responsibilities public and private clients. You will handle from A to Z clients requests requiring interpreting services. Under the supervision of the interpreting director, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing clients‘ accounts on Interpreting services (social and conference interpreting)
  • Handling requests of clients and analyse their interpreting needs
  • Collaborating with the interpreting director, interpreting project managers and the business development team
  • Following criteria agreed on with clients related to a tender
  • Recruiting interpreters for the needs of clients, according to missions and clients´ criteria, negociating needs and fee with interpreters depending on clients’ needs
  • Working closely with the purchase coordinator regarding interpreters’ sourcing and XTRF profiles
  • Creating a tailor-made offer for each customer request
  • Developing partnerships with new equipment companies in geographical regions closed to specific clients
  • Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
  • Encouraging clients to anticipate their future needs and include Solten in the process
  • Managing projects, coordinating teams of freelance interpreters and supervising interpreting equipment and logistic tasks
  • Managing all types of interpreting projects (linking, consecutive, simultaneous, whispering, telephone), from 1 to 25 languages, as well as related services (audiovisual equipment, travel and hotels, etc.)
  • Type of clients: public, keyaccounts, SMEs, international organizations
  • Working closely with the Financial Department regarding payments, invoicing
  • Sharing feedback on account management and project coordination in order to improve Solten’s process and to spare time
  • Developing business opportunities

CANDIDATE´S PROFILE

  • Fluent level in French obligatory
  • Good level in English
  • Adaptation skills and flexibility
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Be able to organize and prioritize the work load
  • Be able to multi task
  • Be diligent to maintain a high level of quality
  • Have multi-tasking skills and be able to deal with several projects running simultaneously

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with clients and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active and sometimes creative measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
